MATE Display Manager (MDM)

About

MATE Display Manager is MATE default Display Manager originally forked from GNOME Display Manager (GDM) Version 2.20. Same with GDM 2.20, MDM is themeable so we can design any fresh theme with Face Browser and we will be brought back to GDM 2.20 era.

Installation

MATE Display Manager (MDM) can be installed from source, or if we are an Debian / Ubuntu / Linux Mint users, we can install it easily by dpkg. Linux Mint team has built MDM into debs so we can install MDM with ease (thanks Linux Mint team!).
